The verges and ridge tiles on our house were looking a bit tired and worse for wear and having had tiles come off in the past. Rather than just replace like for like and repatch the cement works we decided, for peace of mind, to invest in a Dry System (Maintenance Free) as a precaution to the coming winter weather causing problems. We asked around and people in the trade mentioned that Michael English Roofing had a good reputation, at around the same time we received a local newsletter which had a list of vetted tradesmen included in a list was Michael's firm that was good enough for us to contact him. We called Michael for a quote and a timescale for the work both were satisfactory so we decided then and there to go ahead with Michael carrying out the work. As to the work itself it was all carried out to a high standard and minimal fuss to us at all. In fact, we hardly saw the workmen at all they turned up first thing and just cracked on and got on with the job. That said they were polite and very helpful in answering our questions about the work being carried out. They tidied up as they were going and before they left each day sweeping up, hosing the paths etc down and removing the debris and rubble too, we've had building trades in the past who upon completion leave the mess and waste for us to clear, in fact Michael's team performance should be used to set an example to other trades in customer care. .”
